






















The following documents are required at all times for rentals: Photo Card Part of Driving licence (Or Old Style Paper Licence) Recent utility Bill or Bank statement. To hire a car you will need to allow us to view your driving licence online which the Government has provided a website enabling this. Please go to View or Share your driving licence and give us the code.
Payment must be made by credit or debit card, we do not accept American Express or Electron. Payment details will be taken at the time of booking via our online booking system. A £100 refundable deposit will be taken on all bookings to cover any fuel costs, fines and penalties or damage from the card provided.
Please note that there will be a £50 cancellation fee should you fail to give us 24 hours notice.

In the event of an accident the hirer will be liable, unless deemed otherwise by our insurance company. The Standard insurance excess is £500, you can take out an additional CDW for £10 (inc Vat) per day. This will reduce your excess liability to £150 and cover the windscreen Liability to £50.
Customers are fully liable for the windscreen at time of hire, with the average cost of a replacement of £300 (retail) Windscreen damage waiver can cover the windscreen liability to £50, this excess will cost £3 (inc vat) per day.
Any overhead damage caused to vehicle is not covered under our insurance policy Any hirer who causes over-head damage will remain fully liable of all costs Further restrictions & Requirements

We will accept drivers using a Foreign non EU Licence for a maximum of 12 months from entry to the UK. All foreign driving licences must be accompanied with an international licence if not in english. All international driving licence's must be presented with hirers full driving licence. EU Driving Licence will only be accepted for a maximum of 12 months from entry to the UK.
We allow our vehicles to be driven abroad, please contact us for more details as additional charges will apply.When driving aboard a full continental kit is compulsory along with 5* breakdown cover. We require at least 7 days’ notice for any vehicle going aboard, this is to allow time for all correct documents to be produced. VE103 form which is required to say the vehicle is on hire. Green card for insurance. 5* breakdown cover to be arranged. If you are planning in taking a vehicle to France. The Vehicle will require a Clean Air Sticker for the vehicle. Please ensure you have a licence displaying category B & E in order to tow legally. Teign Rentals only supply 3rd party cover for towing in an event of an accident. We will not cover the trailer and its contents at any time this is the responsibilities of the hirer. Any Damage to our hire vehicle caused by towing will be the responsibility of the hirer to cover the cost of repair.
